finally i met SN from LC Fudan !!! Welcome in Prague, Margaret !!!

after really quick accomodation booking we finally met and we were going for dinner to have really tasty pizza together with my friend Breta who had some job interview in Prague - it was so nice to speak with Shanghainese about Shanghai here in Czech Republic !!! i believe that we will enjoy the weekend here.

We were discussing mine and Bretas experience from China and Taiwan...so nice and Breta was really surprised because Margaret is probably the first person who understand his chinese :-))))

Hope that we will make some photos during weekend and sightseeing in Prague....

Lunch with my really good friend Breta

i havent seen him for 5 months !!! which he spent in Taiwan. It was amazing to speak with him again and mainly to speak with czech who spent some time in asia - nice to share the same things and had the same overview about chinese culture. This time which i spent out of office was really nice.

Do you have also such a a feeling that usually when you speak with your friends about asia - you will start to talk about toilets? i think that its common topic for most of non - asian ppl ....

I have to take the opportunity and be with them sometimes....I was really surprised b/c it never happen to me that i was guide in clubs in Prague !!!

The best coctails in Prague are there !!!

But today Andy came and told me - Lucy you have to go, its my birthday and there will be lot of fun - so in 1 minute i was ready - tired but why not :-) birthday parties for ppl who are far from their home should be with lot of friends and they should feel like at home.
Andy and her friend prepared amazhing picnick with really tasty meal !!! we had everything - fresh vegetable, cheese, fried ham, tasty wine, sweets ...really nice evening. Thank you very much.

Study Tour - Istambul

everytime when i was a child i heard a lot of stories & fairytailes about Istambul so i couldnt wait to see it !!!

Programm of study tour: Miniaturk (mini buildings - the most important sightseeings in Istambul.

Bosphorus Tour - THE BEST PART !!! If you will go to Istambul- you cant miss it. Boat trip at bosphorus, you will see all Istambul which is in your hand...Really clear and nice blue see, see-cobs everywhere, so many sightseeings, awesome bridges....total relax & real holidays.

Parties in Istambul at the ROOF!!! amazing & cool idea - maybe that i wills tart with my own business in this field here in Prague...there was only 1 problem - too expensive beer...

Study Tour - Istambul

next day : Beylerbeyi palace - ppl with guns in formt of ! really huge security - as at the airport and i dont know why...palace was nice with crystals from Czechoslovakia :-)) but! why so much security???

Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia - i couldnt wait to go inside mosque. It is quite similar to our church - everytime i thought that it will be different - Hagia Sophia is older, ppl are not praying there and most of it is under reconstruction but as well as it was amazing to be there....
In formt of this is Blue Mosque - modern and ppl are praying there - so when there is time for praying - you can hear music in whole Istambul - everywhere which should remind to ppl that its time for praying - strange during night but in 2-3 days you dont think about it....when there is praying ime - guests (foreigners) has to leave the mosque - b/c they disturb ppl who are praying - i dont understand why they cant stay there - there is part in the mosque where its forbidden for tourist to enter....
another funny story - about toilets in Turkey ...sometimes its too strange - somewhere you can find normal european style and somewhere turkish style :-))) in Hagia Sophia were european one but with note: pls, do not through any toilet paper into the toilet !!! what do you think about it???

Grand bazaar

Lot of everything...traditional turkish things together with faked everything...and bargain and bargain...that was a pitty that we didint have too much time to see more and improve our bargaining skills....
Sure that i bought there water pipe - as memory for Turkey :-). We were in restaurant/pub - where everyone had at least 1 water pipe !!! I smoked water pipe 2dn time in my life- amazing to smoke in turkey with Jarda (Czech ), Elmo (Taiwan) and some turkish ppl. Elmo taught me really interesting game - now i know name - its called Tavla. Elmo is really good teacher in 1 hour i get to know how to play it...
So this is end of my turkish adventure. Thanks to everyone who was there, hope to meet oyu guys next time somewhere in the world or in Czech republic - you are proudly welcome in my country.

Lets keep in touch

day 4th - sunday

lying & relaxing at beach again....but i was too much sun burnt !!!
Oh i ¨didint write about meal ! amazing - you will see at photos. 5* hotel with swedish tables, lot of different measl and so mach sweets...unforgottable.
But everything has to finish - writing sugar cubes, ppt with photos from whole congress ....slow music...closing plenary came...
After we moved to dorms agani and fast go to Taxim squeare to watch final match of Football world championship. Pub was full of AIESEC ppl, different nationalities...most of us wanted France to win but ! you saw tha match ...mainly after red card for Zidane, it was more less sure that winner will be the one who will have more luck- Congratulation to Italy !!!

day 3rd International night - Global Village

the best party and event at the conference. Me & Jarda presented Czech republic very well - you can see at photos (photos will be upload asap). And b/c czech ppl are beer nation and like partying and meeting with ppl ...the most successfull was home made slivovice and than pragues limb (pražská větev) - you have to drink zelena and rum at one time and for some delegatesit was too hard...all countries rpepared amazing presnetations - you can see it at photos - to describe atmosphere there is really hard...at every global village i feel how small is world for AIESEC members...evry country had something special and everyone got something for memories - we draw czech flag, taiwanese delegation wrote characters....amazing

After again moving to party room - there were TOPALKY - bold race (i dont know how is it in english exactly) - beer drinking - as fast as possible - but iw as shocked !!! maybe that its little bit similar to turkish culture - but in Czech republic its one of the most important part of party at conference and i think htat we have most advanced rules for TOPALKY so it was really strange that there was more ppl who were chairing its doesnt have sence that someone was spilling....really crazy - NO OTHER COMMENTS

Day 3rd - Saturday

wake up !!!...I havent hear that...no phone wakw up...doors can be opened only by card - there is only 1 card for one room...hard work for OC - but i think that about 50 % of delegates were at morning plenary and this is success for sure...than standard things as morning plenary with photos form last day and gossips - but it wasnt too much interesting - probbaly b/c of fact that ppl diidnt know each other names and without name cards - badges - impossible to write smthg about someone...today we had really interesting session - divided into groups and discuss different topics which are connected with global issues...out of 20 we should select 3 the most important for our group - but...we started to discuss differences and problems between East and West - it was really intresting discussion - in our group were ppl from US and me and one delegate from India - we both tried to live in East and west countries so we had totally different ideas and discussion was really hardcore in some moments - mainly about budget of US - that they spent a lot for army operations and that the same amount of their budget which goes to this area could be budget for some poor countries for whole year etc....we didint have so much time but after this - i have no idea how ppl - politics from different countries can make some compromis...it has to be really hard work.
B/c the weather was really ncie and i wanted to enjoy sea and beach so i decided not to attend rest of agenda....i know that its not really good and i didint feel really nice but when i saw anothere delegates that they had the same idea as me...why not

From Istambul with love....

i agree with all my friends who were in Istambul...its really amazıng place...

photos and more about my stay wıll come later. At our hotel ıs ınternet for free BUT turkısh kezboard and Wındows ...so im lost...

day 2nd - Friday

more ppl came to site...finally....for breakfast we decided to try canteen to have some water and some bread - after finally bus came and we were going to opening plenary...there were speach of partners, university representatives etc. Sure that we saw traditional turkish folclore and dances and clothes - it was nice but quite long. Im surprised that the girls didint fall down b/c they were turning around for a long long time....
Everyone couldnt wait to see the 5* hotel - our site and beach and sea.So after 1,5 hour bus sightseeing in Istambul we were finally there !!! really luxury hotel with amazing beach, sea & swimming pools !!!

I had 3 rommates - girls from Turkey, Greece and South Korea - so with me - Czech cool combination...

Turkish Night

1st party with turkish culture presentation - AMAZING !!! typical turkish meal, alcohol, clotes and dance...the turkish alcohol has i think about 40 % of alcohol but flavour was too strange....MCPs decided to join us so we had really nice time with turkish culture and wiev for incredible sea....After we movede to party room where beer was waiting for us and as night surprise belly-dancer - quite good but i saw better...for men it was probably much more amazing than for girls.

ISTAMBUL Trip

Day 1st - thursday

again - airport & plane and my fear from heights
randomly i met our MCP Evca at the airport who was going to MCP meeting in Istambul !
Ataturk Airport
- will someone wait for us? Evca saw there MCP from Groatia - i think...& member from LC Istambul who pick up us and showed the right bus to Taxim - there we met Jarda - CEED from Czech republic and finally we got to dorms - by taxi - the taxi driver was quite angry b/c we thought that he will want only 4 turkish lira and finally he wanted 5 turkish lira but we tryied to bargain - it wasnt really pleasant....but we were at dorms and it was the main point of the day - to accomodate somewhere...

Me personally i like places as dorms - where are dividied buildings for girls and boys :-))) everytime its cool and really funny to speak with managers of dorms - or some responsible persons for accomodation and try to explain them that its ok...but in Turkey there is some law that girls and boys hasa to be separately ...so we accomodate, had some Krusovice beer and than me and Jarda decided that we will teach our friend from Taiwan how to drink Slivovice - we were in Jardas room and had opne doors but what happend...we met the manager who tryied to explain us that its unpolite that girls is in boys room and its in front of men bathroom - sure he spoke turkish and our friend Elmo from Taiwan tried to communicate with him - he speaks little bit turkish - and me b/c i spent 3 months in china - and i didint understand chinese - sometimes i know what are ppl talking about....after this another cool news - 1 key is the same for whole floor !!! so when you frget your key you can asked your neighbour to borrow you his...so strange ...imagination that you spent whole school year with this....

after some beer, slivovice and trying to explain to managers that its not problem to share room girls & boys finally some OC members - turkish came and we went to sleep to - to prepare ourselves for another day and Anatolia Congress
