Alumni meeting

amazing event !!! I met there so many friends and new ppl. I think that this shouldnt be only at 30th or 40th anniversary of AIESEC in Czehc republic. Really nice was to see ppl, who established AIESEC in the Czech republic and who were MCPs in 60s and 70s. We heard smthg about situation which was in these years, about problems with political situation, how they did exchange, how AIESEC Czech republic became official member of AIESEC and more a more really nice and interesting stories from "our" history.

As usuall, after official end of this event we went to some restaurant to have a talk. I got so many new information and i saw that world is really small for ppl from AIESEC :-) they are everywhere

Global Village - EuroXPro 2006 is coming !!!!

Global Village is both cultural and educational event where the delegates of the conference will present their countries, customs and traditions. The best way to imagine it is to think of it as an international town. The delegates from each country will have stands at their disposal where they will be providing information about their countries to the visitors.

Besides that there will be a stage where together with Czech music bands the delegates will have a chance to perform their traditions (national dances, songs, etc.)
A performance of a music group "LesBoys" is preceeding the event, which officially starts at 12 p.m. (noon) with the first cultural presentation and performance.

The official ending of this event will be accompanied by another music band called United Flavour that has members not only from the Czech Republic but also from Slovakia, Spain or Africa.
In order to attract attention of the widest spectrum of public we conduct this event in the center of Prague, which is a square in the center of Prague. Besides the standard media promotion, we also approach secondary schools.
Global Village will be held on Friday March 17, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. - 2.30 p.m. in Ovocny trh in the centre of Prague.

12.00 - 14.00 Cultural presentation of countries
14.00 - 14.15 Quiz winners announcement
14.15 - 14.30 Official end with "United Flavour" music band

CEED presentation

finally i had time to do presentation which i promised, about CEED and my stay in China. It was really nice :-) During the presentation i remembered for everything what i experienced there and i had lot of really nice memmories at my friends there and all ppl i have met in Shanghai.
When Jenny (trainee from China) told me that i have more photos of China and "our" friends i had different feelings...I believe that she has to miss China and friends there really much.
Cant wait for Global village at ANC, we are going to prepare Chinese table with chinese alcohol and sweets and little bit strange things :-) Also new elected MC VPOQX from China should come to Czech republic - so it will be really cool
I hope that more ppl will come to Czech republic or to Europe form China, e.g. Li (SN from Beijing) is going to have traineeship in Poland, so hopefully we will meet again, now in Europe :-)

LCC - Local Committee Conference

time goes so fast and LCC of LC Prague was here. Me as newie - officially from LCP elections - have to go to this cool conference and i had to go - together with another newies through newie approval - i tried to negotiate with Starosta, if i have to go there...but my negotiation skills arent so good. So me - alumni in Karvina - i joined AIESEC in 2002, i already been teamleader, VPICX, OC member for many times, OCP of national conference and CEED had to go througt this.

Ok i told to myslef during your AIESEC career you survived so many things....yes but situation at the day :

• friday we arrived and because there was hockey match Czech with Sweden, LCPs Lucka and Ondro decided that we will skill agenda and we will wantch ice hockey - but we lost this game, we were really angry...after this sessions continued - i joined cool OC team - only girls :-) and started to prepare party room for EB party

• EB party - every EB member and chair has special coctail, you can drink what you want and when some alcohol left - how much you want - we had - Long Island & Tequila Sunrise and more mixwd drinks - i dont remember their names - with almost all types of alcohol which you can imagine. TO this, we open keg of beer...party finished about 6 a.m I was there as OC support till the end.
• saturday morning : hangover, breakfast was quite tasty but i decided to spent few hours in my bed and than i helped to OC again. And because i had headache - see fridays party - i didint want to join newie approval and ithought that there is no need....but when i want to be officially newie i have to do it. And mainly experienced @cers wanted to see me in all this situations....so first help, take some pils, hav shower and go !!!
• saturday - newie approval -

1st shock - message - its better to have sme old clothes, whch can be little bit damaged :-o

2nd - you can have only 2 pieces of clothes - it will be checked

3rd - you have to make couples - recommendation - its better to be girl and boy - it will be more exciting :-o

Sooo, i found my partner - Janpi :-) and after few minutes we went to the room, there with scarfs at aour eyes, with 2 pieces of clothes and without shoes and socks we had to go around whole room, at every stage - which meant- one of AIESEC values - we heard short stroy and we had to drink smthg, do smtg, eat cream - bodyshot...etc...and at the end we had to tell them which value is it...Quite strange but it was amazing, at the end we got certificate that we are officially members of LC Prague :-)

After this, party continued - this day, TOPALKY (for those who doesnt know this game - beer drinking game - drink as fast as you can in teams, who win is going to another round) so why not - when i was approved as newie - to do team of experienced members :-) so i was in team with Jirka (hes now in MC in SLovakia, before he was on Iceland and before we were in VPICX term 2003/2004 in Czech republic), than Danka - LCP of Prague 2004/2005...and some more ppl, im really sorry but i cant remeber. We as experienced got into the semifinal round. Than we continued with party and we finished again about morning hours....

I got it !!! im already alumni of LC Karvina, "newie" in LC Prague and probably alumni in LC Fudan in Shanghai :-) cool AIESEC membership.
