Tian´anmen Square

is the largest square in the world. The museum of Chinese history and the Museum of Chinese revolution are erected on the eastern side and the Great hall of the People on the wester side.

Many celebrations and military reviews are held there.

I was surprised, because i expected square similar to Czech :-) with lot of old buildings, traffic is there very limited,...but this square is really huge, from all sides is 4 round busy street and in the middle big memorial. Also everywhere you can meet security,ppl who want to sell something or students who want to attract you to some exhibition which is in the museum. Also, you can find there in front of Museum big clock, where are days´and hours which left to Olympic games in Beijing in 2008.

Also, when i stand at the square and i imagine all historical things which happend there...it was freezing me.
